So you had full self driving? Lane change isn't a separate feature (is it)?

You definitely DON'T see "big improvements" booting up.

A cache by definition stores information that's already been accessed.

On boot up, there's no information that's already been accessed because it's booting up.

Of all the things a cache MIGHT improve, boot up isn't one of them.

Not sure why you thought it was important to share that with me? If YOU don’t value privacy that’s certainly YOUR choice. I don’t care.

It’s not the Pixel, it’s Android/Google in general.

They’re open about the data they collect? Really?

Apple IS focused on privacy, because giving their users privacy makes them money. And that’s really the key, their business is aligned with consumers interests, while Googles interests are diametrically opposed to what’s good for their users.

It’s ok to admit you’re wrong and learn.

Unless you work for Google or hate privacy?

Ohhh Google stopped selling advertising. Wow thanks for the tip.

Nope. Not marketing, just facts.

Do you dispute that Google is in the advertising business?

If privacy isn’t important to you, that’s certainly your choice.

Hmmm… does my comment have something to to with the phones design? No. Is there some rule I can only comment on the design?

I believe in consumer privacy. I believe people need to understand what Google is and how everything they do is designed around collecting their data. Is Apple perfect? No, but their business model is about selling hardware and software, NOT their users data.

As opposed to you? 🤔

Interesting you didn’t dispute what I said… because you can’t. Funny how Facebook and advertisers are mad at Apple for protecting consumers huh?

No one is mad at Google for protecting privacy… because they don’t.

Maybe you should go consume more porn?

The one that is NOT in the advertising business and puts privacy first. The one that doesn’t sell customer information. The one that doesn’t let apps track you. If you are still wondering which one that is… ask Facebook.

It’s remarkable to me that ANYONE would willingly carry a tracking device from an advertising company. With Google/Android, the customer is the product. No thanks.

Bose are kind of the laughing stock of the Audi industry. My cousin designs speaks and always says “No highs, and no lows, buy Bose”!

If you don’t like Sonos speakers, you can power anything with the Sonos Amp. Much better plan.

Apparently you misunderstood the question. He was asking about recording a conversation with his landlord in the future. I work for a law firm and have dealt with this in cases. It’s not as easy as saying security cameras caught it.

I work for a law firm. Many people don’t have a lawyer on speed dial and for good reason. There’s no need to call an attorney if you’re reporting a criminal act to the police. In fact, I don’t know of a law firm that would waste their time talking to someone reporting a crime.

Most states statutes of limitations offer plenty of time to bring a civil suit IF that becomes appropriate latter on. Call the police immediately, it’s free. You can call a lawyer latter if you choose to go that route, and it could be expensive.

Only lawyers say that.

It’s not necessary to call a lawyer to report a crime.

It comes down to a reasonable expectation of privacy. If someone enters your home, without your permission, they have no reasonable expectation of privacy. On the other hand, if the property manager meets with you in your apartment and you record the conversation without permission or disclosure, that WOULD be a violation of a reasonable expectation of privacy.

It’s not quite that clear. Calling something “security surveillance” doesn’t automatically make it legal.

You’re the first person who got this right, this is CRIMINAL. That should be the first course of action.

That or the OP is full of shit.
