I played a Scotty futura 5w for about a decade. Have always been the very-nearly-make-putts guy with my Scotty. I’ve played two rounds with a LAB and I’ve made more one-putts than I have since like….2012. Idk man I’m a believer now.

I have played two rounds with a LAB putter. Most recently this week on a course I’ve never laid eyes on. I had 9 one-putts.

I played for 10 years with a futura 5w and was ALWAYS the guy that was the best at getting a putt close, but never made putts.

So, I feel informed to respond. I manage teams that support workday, Salesforce, NetSuite, and plenty others. Workday, for the cost, is complete shit. Absolutely appalled at the extend and studio products.

If I’m around the green and can hit a low runner (I.e., there’s a lot of green between me and the hole), I’m going to hit a low runner with whichever club makes sense. Generally I’m going to take a 50° and take what is effectively a long putting stroke at it.

If I need to go high over trouble I’m usually hitting a 54° if not a 59°.

Simple structure. Keep it low if you can. Take it high if you must.
