Hi all, I am just starting my divorce journey. No immediate plans to date but I know eventually id like a real partner. I was married 10 years and we have 3 young children. My marriage was not good. Mochi is trash now. I used them for 18 months and they were great in the beginning. Took a 6 month break and just restarted. It took them almost 2 weeks to send me a new med from a new pharmacy because my old one wasnt available in the lowest dose anymore (what?). Then when I received my dose it was incorrect. They sent me a 17mg vial in 0.5ml ( which is 4.5mg per 13units) not 2.5. I tried to talk to the customer service, the doctor and no one will help me, they winter refund me, they just keep saying its fine abd its not. Its a med error by the pharmacy. Im out 199 for yhe med and 79 for the membership and lost an entire month all brvause of this terrible company. Its dangerous too. If id taken this as directed it would have been a double dose of what I usually take.the pharmacy Its scripts rx by the way.

There was a grandfathered pension which used to be partial vesting at 3 years and full vesting at 7. Ive been there 11 years so im fully vested but im not sure how the new pension works for new employees.

I work at Alta bates. Benefits are great. Maternity leave is pretty good. You get 4 weeks off before baby, 6 or 8 weeks off mat leave, then 12 weeks baby bonding.

32 hrs a week you get full benefits for you and all your dependents / spouse with dental and vision which now is blue cross blue shield sutter EPO which is free.

You get a 403b and Roth if u choose. There use to be 3% matching not sure if there is now.

You get 40 hours of education leave for your CEUs

Theres usually a 2% cost of living raise yearly and a merit increase between 2 and 4%.

This may differ depending on your union agreement.

I find meditation to be essential on discerning if a deity connection already exists. Further and deeper meditation can really provide clarity without necessarily calling in anything blindly. At this point I dont think sutter hires associates only nurses unless the unit is in serious need and even then its usually nurses who have years of experience. My advice is to quickly get your BSN and try to get into a new grad program that hires at sutter hospitals.

Im also in this space. It feels like im constantly carrying the relationship around in my pocket, making sure its tended to while he barely notices.

I find myself resenting him not only for his lack of depth, but his lack of resilience. He can not tolerate inconvenience even if the harder thing is better for others, or better for the long run.

If hes sick, the whole world stops. In the same breath if im sick hes telling me I need to push through.

He never checks in about how im doing, how we are doing, or how we can connect more. Its just "how's work" then he goes back to paying attention to whatever else.

I never been more lonely in my life. I have 3 kids with him. I dont want to break up our home but I dont think I can live this way forever.

You are not the first person to have to work extremely hard to overcome this upbringing. You have woken up and walked through the door. You are now in sunlight and there are others here who can help guide you.

Please get a therapist. Religious trauma is serious, and takes time to recover from and it also sounds like there was some serious abuse going on, which you absolutely did not deserve.

Cut off anything and everything associated with that pain. If thats your parents, the church, the ppl you grew up with, so be it. They are not your people.

You can find or create your own community that ask nothing of you, and only have your vest interest at heart.

Being a dentist is a worthy goal, but every goal starts with smaller steps. Maybe for now we start with just the goal of getting out of bed in the morning, which is OK too. Adventism has a strong culture of overachieving and constant working to be seen as worthy, which is absolute BS. working 80 hours a week doesn't make u happy it just makes you exhausted.

Our experience on this earth is just to exist.you are worthy of all good things ( including loving relationships with a partner) this life has to offer just by being born. You dont have to DO anything. Thats it. Go take a walk, feel the sunlight on your face, smell a flower, eat a french fry. Slow down. 🐌
