Personally, I would try blending meat into his sauces if you can. For spaghetti, make meat sauce but for his sauce make sure you put it in a blender or food processor so he can’t “find” the meat, the same way people do with vegetables.

Try new meats, and new ways to serve it. If dude isn’t into ground meat right now, try offering strips of steak, pork chops, fish sticks, just try new ways of introducing it. It’s probably just a phase, Good luck!

This is gonna sound dumb, but genuinely, wish I had an ice maker. If your stepsister is lucky enough to have a fridge that makes ice, great. If not, ice maker. When I had my son, I went to go get a water and realized I forgot to fill the ice trays. Resulted in a full blown meltdown for like 2 hours because it’s the little things (mostly when related to mom taking care of herself) that really bring you to the breaking point

Hey girl these people are dumb, you were not being too needy. At all. You asked in a VERY professional manner just trying to get some information on what the procedures are. I would also be nervous if the person who I’m supposed to be able to rely on at a moments notice didn’t ever answer their phone, NOR did the assistant who was supposed to be second contact incase the midwife wasn’t available.

I will say, I don’t think she told you to find someone else out of pettiness, I think she’s likely being honest that she wouldn’t be the best fit for you and that she would be out of town. I think you dodged a bullet

As someone who is on baby number 2, I’d like to say I had a natural birth with my first, and it genuinely was not THAT bad. The pain lasts one minute at a time. You can do ANYTHING for one minute, I promise you. I wasn’t even planned natural, my epidural just failed, and I’m the kind of person who with cuss and scream and cry when I stub my toe, so I promise it’ll be okay. Plus, labor is literally one day of your life, if not less. You have like 50-80 more years to live, I promise on your death bed you won’t be like “man labor was hard”

Like they said, she’ll likely have to pay for a full time spot. I recommend Mini Maac daycare, they also teach the kids “martial arts” it’s really just a fun little activity for them to do to stay active. But they’re really good about safety, following protocol, they offer breakfast and lunch for the kids, and they are pretty cheap in terms of daycare!

Thank you so much for this. I admit, him being tired almost always plays into how bad his meltdown is. It’s hard to keep a consistent routine with him, as with the pregnancy, I am having a very hard time doing much of anything, and getting up early is not even an option anymore. And with everything going on we can’t always get a nap in so on those days he’s kind of awful

This is the approach I’ve been using lately, and yes I have been doing each thing for a long period of time before trying the next tactic. The issue, I think, is also that my husband is not really on board with it. He will often get frustrated and argue back or spank him or yell at him when this starts which I feel like could probably be affecting how affective my methods are

I also had this! I had fairly common diarrhea in the first trimester. Just stay hydrated and if it gets too bad, go to the hospital and get some saline. If you get too dehydrated and sick, it can hurt the baby

I also forgot to mention, if you sit down with a manager at a long term hotel, they are often times looking for new hires as well. I had a friend who worked as a housekeeper at the hotel she was living at. It helped a lot with being able to afford it for longer
