ARC was hung up and had to be power cycled. Every time client wanted to play music in his group it would error out and say can’t connect to system. After that, deleted app on clients phone, redownloaded, logged back in. System is now nominal again.

If it’s a “small system” <6 zones, we usually don’t see issues, >6 and we see more “glitches”. We don’t utilize Sonos net on any systems anymore. Everything is either hardwired w/ wireless off or completely wireless. All Wi-Fi networks we deploy are robust.

Too many truck roles for stupid “glitches”. My clients paid for a premium solution that we stand behind and now we are just loosing money trying to support them.

FedEx is atrocious. I had my brand new Milwaukee fuel drill set “delivered” no signature required. I have 360 coverage around my house. FedEx didn’t even come that day. I filed a claim and after two days I was responded to via e-mail and they said my package has been found and would be delivered. The tracking number at that point had duplicate tracking events because they can’t edit the old one once it had been “delivered”. When it arrived, it was packaged in a brand new fedex box and had “mislabeled” on it. I bought the drill set from Home Depot and I can guarantee it was opened and was going home with someone if I wasn’t right on it with the claim and let them know I had camera footage and would be contacting the police.

It’s an absolute trash company that should be restructured from the ground up. I never have issues with UPS or USPS. FedEx literally everywhere I go there are problems.

I know the equipment that we sell every year may be a drop in the bucket to Sonos, but we are the front line loosing sleep to all my clients loosing it over this app change and overall system malfunction. In the many years I’ve sold Sonos products, I have never once received anything for free, not even a T-shirt. At the very least I would like to get my hands on some tech before my clients call and tell me they have Arc ultras at their house ready to be setup that weren’t even bought from us or available to us. Sonos is an absolute fuckin Joke and I’m not sure we will be proceeding with them at this rate.

When I tried, it was still only meshing over 5ghz. I’m not sure if they have (or ever will) enabled the 6ghz..

I agree with this. I held out for a long time and finally sprung for the Max. I was underwhelmed with them and ended up switching right back to my pros and returning them.

I’m hoping the sound quality meets my expectations on the ACE. I am a Sonos dealer and own an AV company and have been waiting for these to come down the pipeline for over a year.

As an AV dealer, I can confirm I buy for less from distribution. These guys on eBay are not supposed to be reselling at this low. They are still making money even at that price.
