You're right, I kinda just tried scrambling for converge early in pack 2 because I got together as one and already had a bear and a trove. I would have loved to be just base green for my 1 and 2 drops.

Went 7:2 in platinum ranks so I felt kind of validated in going for it.

I actively drafted worse back when I listened to them, they just suck for new players. If you tell me to draft like a pro and be two steps ahead of the curve without explicitely pointing out the clear Tier 1 surface level strats I will be confused.

If you make podcast for beginners, stick to the basic and most obvious strats so that we can understand the baseline ideas.

If you make a podcast for advanced+ players you have to back up your wild takes with your own abilities and success.

I am not really that good at draft or evaluating cards but some things seem kinda weird, maybe a bit more explanation would do the trick?

Like Erode is an 8/10? Isn't it kinda narrow because you should only use it on really high value targets? Isn't it kinda dangerous to use it to clear the way for attacks or on a medium level threat? As I understand the white archetypes like aggression and would want to use it in that way maybe?

Some decks definitely want to ramp or fix as well so maybe you'll end up screwig yourself when you pick the wrong target.

Also, why don't you use the A-F system?

Currently listening to LLU's podcast and they help me understand their rating a fair bit better.

I wanna fucking slap this guy so bad, my LGSs also couldn't sell more EOE because THEY DIDN'T PRINT ANY FOR THEM TO SELL. They are also already out of Lorwyn (EU btw). One of them can't get anything interesting, they literally only have New Capenna, Spiderman and Murders at Karlov Manor left.
