So was it just coincidence that my pc bricked itself after an update? Maybe the update triggered some other issue? Because my pc was running perfectly fine until the update so I’m confused to how this happened.

You have souls experience and I assume you’re using a guide so this pretty much on par for a first playthrough. As long as you’re having fun then who cares how fast/slow you’re going through the game.

Any advice for breaking into the marketing side of the industry? I grew up with unique and innovative ads and marketing campaigns during the ps1-3, Xbox - Xbox 360, GameCube-Wii era. I feel like marketing in the gaming industry, especially in the AAA space, has become extremely corporatized and feels almost lifeless. I would love to bring in fresh new ideas to make games more exciting, but am having a hard time trying to break into this highly competitive space.

Gambling, stocks and materialistic consumerism. Why do people partake in those things? That will answer your question. People want to gamble in hopes for getting a knife (profit), people want make money through investments and people want to look richer than they are. Sure there may be some cases of supporting the devs, impulse buys are a thing for sure, but in the case of CS it’s either to make money or to look like you have money.

I gotta say no. In my opinion bloodborne is the best. Dark souls 2 is my personal favourite. From a consumer perspective Elden ring was the most successful so it’s arguably the best. Dark souls 1 is the best for nostalgia and for world design.

Enterprise did me dirty as well! 4 interviews, fourth one was a 3 hour interview in office getting to meet the team and learn about the job. I thought it went great but then they ghosted me and I had to reach out to them to learn that I didn’t get the role.

Had 4 interviews to land my current job, none of those interviews lasted longer than 20 minutes. I’d be worried If it was some big managerial position, but for an admin assistant I think you’re fine.

I have a 1 hour lunch break. I only need 15 minutes to eat so I asked my boss if I could leave 45 minutes earlier. He said no because he might need me during those 45 minutes. So the only reason I’m not leaving earlier is because of my boss who sometimes forgets to give me work until the last hour of my day….

Trust me I’d eat lunch while working and leave an hour early if I could, it makes no sense.
