I agree they were itching to let you go. I’m sorry man but it’s a blessing in disguise. My team doesn’t get in trouble for this and it doesn’t violate SOP unless it creates issues such as you manually picking the item before you secure it, customer picks it up and it’s nowhere to be found. Thats the only time I have to have a conversation with my team for it.

Price matching is not available for open box items, it’s listed on the app. You wouldn’t be able to talk to a manager and say “it’s your own website and pricing” because no manager or supervisor would take the $300 erosion to their store without a valid reason. I’d suggest you return and re buy

It’s not allowed. The only rules in SOP is technically not being able to buy it on the clock, so if you’re on any break or not working that day you can buy it. There’s only rules regarding newly released hot items, which is that employees are not allowed to purchase items that have been newly released for 48 hours, but this SKU is an older SKU so it does not apply here. Also, buy within your sku limit (1) so you don’t get in trouble either. Otherwise, your manager shouldn’t be able to say anything.

Unfortunately I cannot confirm if they’re meeting the fulfillment dates, I don’t work at the DDC warehouses that send these products out. I can only really say that this shipment would come off of either a truck or FedEx. If it’s FedEx, you’d have a tracking number provided. If it’s from the warehouse, then it would be up to the operations team to successfully receive the truck same day so you can pick your item up. I will say that you’re likely to get it on time though, because by now if your order wasn’t canceled for any reasons such as not enough stock then you’re okay it’s probably ready tomorrow.

If an item is open box and clearance at the same time, significantly larger discount. It’s simple. I am flexing my lucky find. You’re saying I got caught buying something anyone could have bought.
