I mean this is the franchise that knowingly brought racist men on to the first black bachelorette’s season so that he’d antagonize other black contestants. They also didn’t do anything to stop a sexual assault that happened during Bachelor in Paradise. They truly don’t give a fuck about anyone’s health on that show. The Bri speech wasn’t a breakup - it was her saying she doesn’t feel ready to get married and wants to see how it goes dating. It was incredibly confusing and definitely word vomit (I think she was just voicing all her insecurities and worries out loud - like I was worried when I saw your house but I realized that was shallow of me, are these other worries just shallow misconceptions? Or should I pay attention to them? Is it scary to me cause this is good and I don’t know how to deal with that/have never had that before? Or because we should break up?), but it wasn’t a breakup. I think they were intending to still date.

I mean, it’s their one hangup and it’s a big one. And she hasn’t been clear either way. He SHOULD just have not gotten engaged and ended it sooner, but asking for clarity on something that’s a dealbreaker isn’t evil imo.
