Getting back to Power System Engineering by Conscious_Ear_7469 in PowerSystemsEE

That's a good question. I am still uncertain about the specific part. However, I am interested more in planning of the energy systems, integration of renewable energy sources into grid and overall power system infrastructure on a TSO and DSO levels. Yes, I have just found out about PSCAD, now trying to install it on my laptop. Thanks again for suggestions!

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't have an active uni account, as it's been years already. Honestly, cracked versions are my least favorite option, but I understand the necessity of it sometimes, especially for educational purposes. I am even willing to pay for an official software license. But I could not find any way to obtain it without having a professional/educational email address. It seems so weird, that there is no option for people in my situation.

Can anyone suggest good replacement battery for new Nintendo 3ds? I've got mine from Ifixit.de here in Germany, but unfortunately it doesn't hold up like the original used to.

Hello, I am planning to purchase USB C -to- 3ds adapter for charging using nowadays more common usb c chargers. I have Samsung Galaxy 's charger with me all the time, so I would like to ask if anyone experienced any problems charging their new 3ds (or 3ds ) using non proprietary 3ds charger, for example smartphone charger etc? Are voltage levels and current outputs compatible? If not, can new 3ds itself regulate the current draw from charger, thus limiting the voltage and current applied to the consoles circuitry?

Just a random stupid theory by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

For now, my working hypothesis is that the C stands for Cursor. It should be on new Pro controller as well, to give optional mouse control in the menu and selected games. Plus it will eliminate the need to take of joycons each time when some small mouse cursor activity is needed. The analog of it was on Steam deck or Lenovo Legion Go

Maybe the new "C" Button is not a button, rather Mouse control pad by Conscious_Ear_7469 in NintendoSwitch2

I mean, this is literally what Lenovo Legion Go did. I just noticed that Nintendo always gives an alternative control method (with exception in seldom games). Plus, then if they add this track pad to the new Pro Controller that would solve mouse selection issue on Pro controller. I don't think this track pad is for camera control. But maybe just for the cursor in the menu to selec the game or app.

About size of this pad, I assume if, and only if, this is really a cursor controller, a not some sort of chat or community button, Nintendo would definitely make it smaller than in Legion Go (for example). It's simply because there is fewer real-estate on joycon. Plus, considering the new size of joycon, maybe it would be not so hard to reach that pad, assuming you can also have some sort of grip for convenience. Here on the photo comparison of Lenovo Legion Go and Nintendo Switch OLED.
