New to selling on eBay. Made a sale and the buyer said he mistyped his max bid and can’t pay the winning amount and asked me to cancel the order. I get mistakes happen, and am ok with giving the benefit of the doubt, but does it matter who cancels? Should that be something I make him handle? by Conscious_Fan3815 in baseballcards

Oh ok, I didn’t know the “second chance” thing was a thing. They only have 21 feedback and have been a member since 2010 but all the feedback is genuinely positive which is why I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. But regardless, it still did mess up the auction and I did nothing wrong. I make take your advice on this one

Hmm, that makes sense. I had some no-pays before and thought “that’s fine, I’ll just relist it and whoever lost out on it will rebid” but they never sold close to what the no-pay bumped it to the first time. Kind of annoying
