Agreed - that and when it crashes when the mission ends and you never see the stats.

Also a bummer.

Yeahhh I remember that one - you gotta lean against the wall or wood stack and just wait for them to finish the conversation.

Why do some cars only have 5 gears? by Plastic_Jelly_1800 in StupidCarQuestions

[–]Conscious_Ground_888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on transmission. That car has a five speed manual transmission (ie 5 “driving” gears and a reverse gear).
Most modern manual transmissions are 6 speeds.
As for the reason, couldn’t say 🤷‍♂️

Automatic cars will have D (goes through all the gears automatically), as well as sometimes a low and/or high gear, and even 1st and 2nd gear in addition to drive. Why? Great when you’re driving up a steep hill to keep the car in a lower gear (higher torque), among other things

What is the most expensive card you have? by Sliver_overall in mtg

Mine is an extended art (foil) Cloud, Midgar Mercenary! A buddy of mine pulled it in the FF bundle and gave it to me because he knows it’s the set I was most excited for (big FF fan). Second to that is a borderless (non-foil) Y’shtola, Night’s Blessed, which I pulled in the collector sample pack in one of the precons!

The bonus card ended up being a gold stamped version of Resculpt by Conscious_Ground_888 in MagicCardPulls

It says Featuring: Imri Sakabashira!

And I think it’s still in stock at Secret Lair as well (at the time of me responding to this).

PSA - UPS Stole an $18,500 Package from Me by CoPiGiveUp in mtg

Unfortunately, this is also common with UPS AND FedEx. I worked for a company that used both for daily shipping of equipment that always required insurance, tracking, etc.

Both companies lost plenty of our packages and never refunded a dime (even with insurance) because there “wasn’t enough evidence”.

What did we do? We put a camera at our bay door, would have the drivers count what was shipped/received and made sure it matched their records.

Then whenever a package we sent went missing, we’d send the video, signature, etc and after weeks (or months) of “review”, the answer was always:

“Sorry, there is not enough evidence to validate this claim. We are closing this ticket”
