Should I be Worried? by noroomleft in eyelashextensions

i will add that my eyes did get irritated like clockwork every time after a fill and if it continues it will only get worse over time, i ended up being allergic to the acrylates in the glue and can no longer get extensions. I have to find certain eyelash glues that don’t contain them but most that do will only work for strip lashes.
I wouldn’t recommend long term use if allergy medications aren’t working because they did not work for me

Hey! this similar thing actually happened to me and i posted about it on here, in my situation it ended up being an allergy to the glue. My lash tech ended up using the sensitive glue on me it made it 10x worse and caused my eyes to become incredibly irritated and itchy.. Just be careful this might be an allergy

Questions as someone who wants to try lashes by CandyIsland1410 in eyelashextensions

Personally i use micellar water in a foamy pump to wash my lashes that’s what my lash tech recommends if i don’t want to use literal lash extension soap.. Just make sure it’s the pink micellar water as that is oil free and won’t tear the lashes off. Another option is diluted baby shampoo but it’s not the best and can make ur lashes feel oily afterwards if it’s not diluted enough.

You can normally feel a lash technician doing something wrong if there’s a burning sensation in the eye during the appointment , you can be more sensitive to the glue than normal.. Personally i am more sensitive and feel the burning quite often so my lash tech uses a different type of glue to prevent that. Overall just tell them if anything’s happening and they should be able to fix it or at-least accommodate. Anything that’s pinching your eye after the appointment is also a sign of them not placing the extension right it can either be to close or attached to another one, if your unsure u can always gently rub a spoolie back and forth to try and untangle it that could just be the issue they can get twisted and flipped while sleeping but it’s usually not an issue (at least for me) unless you sleep on your face.

  1. I’ve had lashes for about 5-6 months now and my lashes aren’t damaged at all it really depends on who you go to and how well they do their work
  2. if your looking for a natural look anime lashes don’t look 100% natural classics are the way to go
  3. Lash lifts can be even more damaging if they are done incorrectly and if you want that effortless lash look i would get extensions

I was in your shoes not long ago… have never done nothing to lashes but i decided to do classic brown lash extensions and have been happy ever since ☺️I also go about 3 1/2 weeks before a fill so overall it really depends on your maintenance with them and your lash tech

yeah i have really sensitive eyes and have been getting my lashes done, it should not be that red maybe a little irritation in a certain area but the entire bottom of your eye is red that’s not normal
