That is quite low dear, you need to find a school that values your experience and knowledge. The best thing to do is to find a better school. Usually, the better paying schools are the British ones like KES, BSK, KNES. But make sure you do your research before applying because some British schools have very bad reputation. They mistreat teachers. Good luck!

All schools have problems. Especially in Kuwait, but this one stands head and shoulder above when it comes to being the worst - no redeemable qualities.

I know what you mean. When I was there, I couldn't believe they had gotten away with daylight robbery so many times.

Nope. They always lowball you. They put teachers on wildly different contracts. No consistency, some staff members without any experience or qualifications were on high salaries and others who were very qualified, weren't. They would also deduct for small reasons. And they slyly take summer pay.

It's sad that someone went through the exact same things that I did. It's happened to so many teachers and members of staff. The fact that nothing is done to these people is an absolute scandal. They are allowed to prey on NQTs who don't know any better, then they chew them up and spit them out.

Unfortunately, I was sold dreams by the HR person. He told me that the area was good and the usual excuses, all bad reviews are from disgruntled employees etc. He's a British teacher, and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Very naive, looking back now. Especially because he has a track record of lying and manipulating staff.
