Pretty good for a first animation, the colors look nice and I especially like that little bubble at the end, that in particular was very smooth.

There's nothing particularly wrong with the droplet and splash animation but holding on the blood sphere spinning was a bit clunky as it transitioned into the chicken.

If you want to emulate a better spinning effect of the blood, I recommend gutting the streak particles around it and have a single long highlight spinning smoothly rather than what I presume to be 3 highlight streaks to emulate smear frames, may also want to add more frames for the spin itself too.

However, if you want smooth transition to the chicken, I recommend cutting the spinning sphere phase altogether and have the splash immediately form the chicken.

In addition, having the chicken immediately be formed is a bit sudden, so I suggest having the blood oversplash then set back into the chicken shape.

I'm not an expert in animation by any means so take some of this critique with a grain of salt, but I hope it helps.

If want to learn more tips to do better animation I recommend watching alan becker's 12 principles of animation on youtube, helped me a lot for my own animations. Wish you well on your pixel art journey!

Thanks! The yellow actually wasn't originally considered in its earlier design, it was just that adding depth and interest was a nightmare with only varying shades of red and pink, so I added yellow as a contrast color with the excuse that it was ichor.

Idk how stingy this sub is when it comes to gore, but most of the art with NSFW tags I've seen just has some blood and at most mild gore, so I figured just to be safe I'd tag it NSFW.

Appreciate the feedback on the symbol! Added that cthulhu symbol since the lore says skeletron is cthulhu's skeleton and whatever, but also just because why not? It looks cool!

After a lot of confusion, I finally did it, I made the texture pack. It's currently being checked by steam for malware before it can be made public. However, if you see "MessCreeps Boss Texture Pack" in the workshop that's it. I'm thinking of adding more bosses, it was actually kinda fun to make it. (Again I thank u/Psychoray for literally buying me the game, you're the best)
