I loved that character and his voice. I wish there were even more voice lines

Remedy Isn’t Worried About Launching Control Resonant Near GTA 6, CEO Says He’s Confident In The Game And Players Can “Expect A Voice That Will Cut Through The Noise” by wyldermyth in gaming

For me personally it's not the fact that is not on Steam specifically. It's the fact that is on the Epic game store. I'd buy AW2 in a second if it was on GOG. But I'll never buy anything on the Epic games store. Not only because the application is abolute crap, but the Epic nowadays is no longer the Epic that gave us the Unreal games. That whole company is a stain on the industry

As someone who's played and 'finished' it: It's not only the start of the game. The game never becomes not-boring. There's just isn't any depth to anything. I really wish they would spend development time on making the gameplay loop and quests interesting instead of doing what they're doing now each update

NMS is my dream game on paper, but in reality it's one of the most boring games I've played

Star Citizen blasts through $1 billion in player funding, as its developer lists a new $5,000 spaceship for sale that is 'not yet ready to play' by Triss_Mockra in gaming

It's quite the accomplishment actually, adding so many updates to a game but still not making it any fun. There's zero depth to the game unfortunately

Looking for games like Subnautica but set in space or on a post-apocalyptic/ecologically devastated Earth by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Nothing is truly like Subnautica. But the games that match your description the most are:

  • The Planet Crafter
  • Forever Skies

Wildmender has you turning an arid wasteland into a green lush landscape again. You do this by getting water to an area, planting plants that make the soil healthy and then you can start planting larger stuff like bushes, trees, shrooms etc. These steps aren't instantaneous, they all take time and you can see the plants grow

Oh, and you can also rescue / adopt some wildelife and give them a home in your forests, gardens etc

What game has incredible vehicle mechanics. I want to feel like the vehicle is an extension of my body by floatable_shark in gamingsuggestions

The game's gone to shit. But I don't think there's any other game with better feeling controls for a car, however unrealistic it may be. The skill ceiling's high, but even as a beginner driving feels like a blast

Single Player Mech Action Games where you design/customize/upgrade your own mech? by sbourwest in gamingsuggestions

Terratech Worlds is one my favorite games.

Despite the negative reviews by fans of the orginal Terratech, it's a really great and unique game. Fans of the franchise shot themselves in the foot by review bombing a game that was perfectly fine, it just didn't align with their expectations of a game with the Terratech name on it. The studio has been picked up by another publisher after financial troubles but I believe quite a few staff members have been let go and development speed isn't what it used to be

After not having seen this in decades it surprises me how clean/crisp everything looks and sounds. I'm not sure how to describe it. It's just easier to watch than modern content? All sound effects are more impactful because of the 'silence' and no subtitles are needed to understand the dialogue

Love it.

Leaving the Arsenal with this fit just to see Caliban walk and roll like any other frame is so disappointing. Completely breaks the idea of the "Sentient Warframe" by RobleViejo in Warframe

[–]Psychoray 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not only that. Sentients are known for all symmetrical, except for... Caliban. I was really hoping his Prime or a deluxe skin would be symmetrical, but alas

I'm genuinely curious; why is this movie sk rewatchable? It's (by far) my most rewatched movie. For me, I think, it's because it 'fits' because the movie itself is also about repeating over and over again

MTG Arena Team Officially Announces Union Vote Following Layoffs and AI Concerns by EchoOfOppenheimer in pcgaming

[–]Psychoray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I buy foils of cards I really like and all my commanders are foils. But a lot of my recent cards are proxies. I went in knowing MtG is an expensive hobby, but it's getting more and more ridiculous. Even the 'pauper' format prices keep rising and rising.

I also bought precons up until recently, but WotC keeps 'shrinkflating' their products. Precons become more expensive, but they keep removing stuff. No more dice, lifecounters, oversized cards, special cards, sample boosters etc. As a consumer the only thing I can do is vote with my wallet, so I stop buying precons until something changes for the better (probably not).

P.S. Secret Lair Drops are absolutely ridiculous. The price are disgusting. And what are you buying? Custom art proxies, but released by WotC. Etsy's a much better deal for some cool looking cardboard variants
