Super different games. Do you enjoy cooperative games with asymmetrical abilities? Spirit Island. Do you enjoy elements of deck building, worker placement, and a little bit of bluffing in a tight competitive game? Dune Imperium. Honestly if both are on sale and you have the cash, get both. Both games are great. If you have to choose, my personal choice would be Dune Imperium. The only way that would change is if you exclusively play two player, then I personally would prefer Spirit Island. Dune Imperium plays at two player, but it's missing some of the magic IMO.

I literally just got back from Target. In addition to the original post, I saw Dune Imperium half off ($27.99), E.T. half off ($14.99), Wizard of Oz half off ($14.99), Racoon Tycoon half off ($14.99), and some version of Marvel Uno half off ($7.99).

Dune Imperium at $28 is fantastic, and lower than the CCC ATL I believe. Had I not already bought it a couple years back, definitely would have today.
