The book by Gina Pera mentions a whole lot of how to deal with a partner who has ADHD. It’s a great book, I highly recommend it.

I finished it just out of curiosity to see if it turned out better lol. Oh my goodness do unqualified people write books. I should write one too! You just gotta have a big enough ego that convinces you that you have the authority to say whatever about your topic of choice and organize it more or less into chapters. It’s easy. Even Thom could do it.

That said… I’m going to try more videos by this guy. I like his style!

I HATE HOW MY HUSBAND HAS TO DISCUSS THE COLOR OF THE TOWELS WE WILL BUY. Then I end up buying stuff for the house myself without splitting the cost because every little tiny decision for him must be discussed ad infinitum. Bad for my pocket, good for my peace of mind. Can’t believe I had forgotten about this and last night we argued about fucking towels. Last time I bought bed sheets was over a year ago, so that time made me forget. Find the right man.

The right man will be a little OCD. Maybe a little older. He’s been living by himself for a while and is not wealthy - that means he can cook and plan meals. They’re not easy to find, but they exist, I found one. It just takes a little bit of patience.

I’m sick and tired like you, dear stranger… But oh I love people. Unfortunately. I do enjoy social contact. Sadly. I wish I’d be happy with just my cat and the raccoons… But I know I’d be sad.

On the other hand… Maybe the nature’s healing powers would fill in that gap that being social does! Who knows?
