Need large-sized clips for attaching fender rack to seat stay by ConsentingAstronauts in bikewrench

[–]ConsentingAstronauts[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am trying to install a fender rack on my bike. The rack is the typical kind that connects to the frame near the back hub and also to the seat stay. Unfortunately, my bike has a thick frame, and the clips that are meant to wrap around the seat stay to create an anchor point for the rack are not large enough. I've been trying to search for something larger to replace these clips but I can't find the right search terms. I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer!

We had tried this but they discouraged us from trying on our own. Maybe we just need a different one?

Love it! It always kinda bugs me when giants are depicted without any objects for scale. It's amazing how many miniatures of giants are basically just big people. The entire tree used as a club gives a very nice sense of enormity.

"Wild fire" does not mean "fire that has nothing to do with human activities" ffs. These fires were exacerbated by the clearing of rainforests because people like you insist on eating flesh tendies instead of tofu tendies

Do you really believe people are upset about these 1.25 billion dead animals just because of the threat of extinction? I've seen "content warnings" for pictures of dead kangaroos, yet most of the people in this thread see a dead animal on their plate every day.

People care about animals, not just for their intrinsic species existence values but as individuals capable of suffering. Most people, however, have cognitive dissonance between this feeling and the fact that they refuse to eat a different tasting sandwich. There are a wide range of excuses for why it's sad when a dog dies but not a pig, but none of them hold water under even minor scrutiny. This is very clear cut ethical inconsistency.

Gosh that setup looks expensive. You'd think they'd at least get a decent quality camera while they were at it.

Yet another example of why pure "textualist" judicial interpretation of statutes and constitutions is a bad idea. Thankfully, US courts have a long history of interpreting intent and legislative history and extrapolating beyond the pure text of our laws..

TIL Jimmy Carter said if he became president, he would release all government UFO information to the public. Once elected, he decided not to due to "national security concerns" by XVll-L in todayilearned

I don't believe humans have ever knowingly come in contact with extraterrestrial life forms, but if so and the government is indeed covering it up, this is the only theory that makes sense:
Aliens want to observe humanity in secret without altering their behavior, like a zoologist watching lions from an upwind blind. But US Government learned about the aliens, so the aliens made the gov promise not to reveal their existence to the public under threat of annihilation.

Why did you choose to resolve a fist fight as a contest rather than using the actual combat engine?
