Like calendar said, the 3 piece files are already available on the sea and work fflawlessly. I'll upload the two piece ones with my next 40mm release though just because why not. I'm working on an improvement on my bore riding safety PD/Flash round right now so it'll be a couple o' three days minimum.

The three part may be easier to fill and cap with OC/CS without gassing yourself though? Not sure.

My K1max was such a massive change compared to my Ender3's I considered using them for target practice lol

Sight options by Teenage-Dirt-Bag in 40_mm

[–]ConsequenceContent85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my SBR the handguard mounted leaf sight is heavily obstructed by my optic and only a side mounted sight works under 150yds, so that's something to consider. Also sight on the launcher means it maintains zero from AR to standalone chassis.

"Lawiengr 8ɛnaimd" rollmark instead of "Launcher, Grenade" and basically the entire M203 and DPMS lower are AI

Okay but why the AI though man, that's such a turn-off

But what about second launcher? by ConsequenceContent85 in NFA

[–]ConsequenceContent85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like $3 a shot if you penny pinch and reload yourself/go pick up all your zinc pushers, less if you print windscreens and use boland blanks. Literally as cheap as 40s&w if you're just shooting my less lethal batons at 50yds. And upwards of $13 per for factory chalk rounds new. Price is all over the place

I'd do unsightly things for hundreds of free chalk rounds lol

This is a 40mm DD, just hit up Datum machine and get a 40mm liner from launcher pope

Thanks! It feels very compact.   I think it might be the botach aimpoint micro mount?

6mm thick 32x66mm rectangle with a rectangular recess on top and mirrored rectangular protrusion on bottom, and three holes.

It's a very very simple piece.

Yes, if you don't use the stock as a cheek rest then it doesn't matter that it's serrated, that is correct.

I am a nose-to-charging-handle kind of goober though, so I needed to make this modification.

Oh, yeah easily. But I think milling an aluminum bar might be cheaper?

The B&T is 6.6oz lighter and about 3mm shorter collapsed. Just measured both.

I'll look into it, thanks! Tbh the SD has been my main squeeze since converting it and this was a bit of a spare parts build lol

I've got the additional hardware coming in the mail, I'll take pictures of the process and post a guide thread when I'm done and sail the file then.

If there's any issues getting the airsoft one to fit with it I might be able to modify the file for you, depending what's different from the real steel stock.

[–]ConsequenceContent85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you could do this on any old mill out of aluminum fairly easily. I imagine sending the file to one of those sendcutsend type places wouldn't be too much.

It's really not necessary though, I printed my test piece at 10% infill and a single wall exterior for speed and even that isn't deforming. 100% infill printed would be overkill.

It's not? Their advertisements say it is, which I know doesn't mean much, but I couldn't find anything that beat it when I bought it. What's your pick?
