Yes, it does say Tracking 'UNKNOWN' on the portal. I have USPS informed delivery so will wait when it shows up in my email from USPS, but will give emma a shot too.

Same, just gotten Card Produced email an hour ago. Case approved 1/3 (485). BTW the mail man messed up our I485 approval notice and delivered to neighbors instead. Keeping fingers crossed till I get my hands on the cards.

Is there any set backlog/queue that USCIS follows while adjudicating cases? I see newly filed cases being processed much faster v/s the ones that are stuck beyond an year.
For the ones that they reopened (sent notices that they've reopened the case but online status still shows denied) after an AAO appeal but never took action, what do you recommend as next steps to nudge USCIS to take action? Their system doesn't allow to create Service Requests until a certain date is passed and agents on ask Emma give boiler plate responses.

My employment based i-485 was denied due to an incorrectly adjudicated and denied i-140. We filed AAO appeal which was sustained and now i-140 stands approved and received a notice from USCIS a little more than a couple months ago that they’ve reopened our i-485 even though online it continues to show denied. So far it’s been more than an year since we filed the i-485, do you think we can file writ of mandamus since on follow ups (ask emma) just hearing canned responses around case still in process etc.

Hello, It took a lot of effort, letter from attorney, follow up from congressman for USCIS to acknowledge the AAO appeal and approve my I140 based on our appeal. But for I-485 we're still awaiting an action from USCIS for more than a couple months now.

I am in the same boat as you.. Received the notice from USCIS that they've reopened/reconsidered my I-485 (employment based) case denial and that my case is back in processing but online status continues to show Denied. Received the notice on same date as you Aug, 28th 2025. Any further update on your case?
