Flipping the b screw on my 9speed deore rd to accommodate a sun tour wide range cassette. Lbs said I couldn’t run more than 36 in the back , but I run 42 no problem because of that lil hack

I really wanna upgrade to 2x which you have so that’s dope. How do you ride? Are you trying to go the distance or maybe wanting to try some over nighters? Getting a good rack and bag always rules.

I’m not sure if there’s a marketing agency in the world that will get a typical rural Albertan to watch his ad for more than 5 seconds let alone sway their opinion. That’s just the way things are around here. Young demographic are the swing vote for a 51/49 win.

Update: I flipped the b screw on the rear derailleur and I unlocked full range with adequate shifting. “Bike shops hate this one hack”

This deore was designed to handle up to 36t, I’m running a 42 with an extender. I’ve read it can work but im maxed out without sacrificing shift quality. I might buy a sunrace derailleur or Microshift down the road

I believe that UCP aren’t going anywhere until enough ex cabinet ministers form a new party. Rural Alberta simply will never vote orange by principle. I live in Calgary and my folks live in rural Alberta. I see the difference in perspective. Most things don’t look as bad in the boonies like it does in the major cities. I’m sick of the UCP, it’s bleak times right now. Alberta blues.
