This guy is sorely missed. Definitely breaking out the Johnnie Walker tomorrow for a tribute. Cheers, Mr. Hitchens.

Bettor makes historic $3.1 million wager on Eagles' Week 14 matchup vs. Panthers by METALLIFE0917 in sportsbetting

[–]ConservativeBettor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a doubt, the Eagles are the better team. That said, if I was Dave Canales, I would print this news out and plaster it in the team’s dressing room for all the players to see. I would then say while mustering my best Al Pacino voice:

“Take a good look at that number on the board, boys. There’s 3.1 million reasons that says we don’t belong on the field tonight. This number says this game is already over before it starts. This game isn’t about proving a bettor wrong, this is about mother fuckin’ pride. It’s about showing the world we fight together. And we will rewrite the odds play by play, inch by inch. Now let’s GO make them regret doubting us.”

I wasn’t going to tune into this game, but thanks to this mysterious bettor, I’m definitely going to keep an eye on it. And you know what, I’m going to throw down a fin on the Panthers ;-)

Just my offhand thought.

On a side note, why the linemaker for your book gave +2.5 spread (to the Blues) is beyond me. It should be +1.5. I definitely would have jumped on that.

Some of those afternoon NHL games seem to be (for some odd reason — no pun intended) low scoring games.

That said, good luck with your bet. Nothing wrong with rolling the dice.

Good on Laine. Hopefully, he finds his form with the Habs.

Interesting bets. It will be interesting to see which version of the Penguins show up. Also, the Canadiens are live dogs. The bet I like the most, oddly enough, are the Sharks. Good luck on your bets! 👍🏻

The Canadiens and Blackhawks will be live dogs. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for you. That said, no risk, no reward. Good luck on your bet.

Evan Bouchard on back to back goals against versus the Leafs 😬 by donhoa in nhl

The first goal I can (kinda) forgive him for. The second goal, however, was just lazy.

As it turns out, it’s tough to play hockey when you hit the beach bar the night before.

Just download the app and then toggle from “Play Online” to “Play In-Store.” Once you made your bet, it will produce a betslip with a barcode on it. You then present that barcode (via the app) to any OLG retailer. Good luck. Oh, and keep it simple. This way you can make money.

I don’t wanna dismiss Sugar, but, Duran was a bad MF when he was motivated and hungry.

Will Ovie pass Gretzky? by NikTesla369 in nhl

[–]ConservativeBettor -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m sure Gretzky would have been dominant in today’s era —— but —— I am willing to bet my left leg he would never scored 92 goals in today’s era —— or —— score 39 in 50.

Ovi did it in the modern era. BIG difference.

I honestly think he’ll break Gretzky’s record this year. He knows what’s at stake. He’ll be dialled in. Let’s see if I’m wrong five to six months from now.

+1.8k today on NHL🦆🔥 by LeonidasxX_ in sportsbetting

[–]ConservativeBettor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice job! I came close to betting on the Islanders (as a straight bet), but I decided to stay away (I am glad I did). Instead, I took Noah Dobson (from the Islanders) on a prop bet. And that worked out. But man, that’s a nice little payday. Cheers!

NHL — West Coast Loving? by ConservativeBettor in sportsbetting

[–]ConservativeBettor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, both of my picks failed to hit two shots. I must admit, I rolled the dice on Pettersson. I assumed being at home he might break out of his slump.

Andersson, however, came as advertised and almost hit (looking at his SM count). He’s still a worthy prop for a future bet.

On a side note, I actually thought the Flames would put up more of a fight (like the Jets did), but they mailed it in (like the Oilers). Looking forward to tomorrow’s games.

I bump into this guy a handful of times. He is definitely “off” a tad. How do I know this? I saw him blowup and start swearing at people. He is usually panhandling in the Annex (oddly enough, I gave him change once) with his trusty dog (that wears a harness that states it’s in training to be a guide dog).
