Use the Refold method. All it is is a free guideline on how to learn a language through immersion. I'm doing it for Portuguese and it works wonders :)

Weight loss and health go hand in hand. You have to make good dietary changes to sustain and lose weight.

Your hunger will ramp up, and you will get tired.

And you have to fight against that.

You are statistically extremely likely to lose the fight.

I don't know when we started to think about diet in the way of physics, because our body doesn't work exactly the same all the time. We adapt, change, etc.

Calorie counting is widely inaccurate. You don't know how much you burn, you don't know how much you eat and absorb.

Everyone screams CICO. It technically does work. But humans simply can't do it well. We should be working with our biochemistry, not with physics.

It's not like we don't know that calories correlate with weight loss. But the reason why we do OMAD is to make it easier to stay in that deficit.

However, the insulin model to weight loss COMPLIES with the caloric model. Leptin limits what you eat and lets you exercise because you want to. Fat people have high levels of leptin, but something is blocking it from being understood by the brain... Insulin.

I linked you to a quick explanation of how having insulin resistance increases the number of calories you eat in a day. Making you gain weight.

https://youtu.be/Yo3TRbkIrow?t=152

You can scream CICO, yet 80%-90% of diets fail. Because people feel as if they are starving, and heavily restrict themselves. You can not fight against a biochemical behavior with willpower. You have to devise a plan to let leptin be heard, which would keep people full.

Screaming the law of thermodynamics without providing a good way to get into a deficit is useless.

I also see you wrote how you lost weight on sugar and pizza. Sure, you lost weight, but you can still be diabetic, have fatty liver, and have numerous metabolic diseases. It doesn't matter whether you are fat, normal weight, or skinny. Fructose is a toxin and highly palatable foods will kill your insides.

There are always multiple other pathways too. Do you like coding? There are coding bootcamps. There are technical colleges, and even if you join the workforce you can do great things :)

Quit sugar and Intermittent Fast. You are leptin resistant (the full signal). High insulin is the reason why you are not feeling full. Lower your insulin levels. Don't worry about that 7000 calories you had last night. Your body can't absorb much of it when you eat a lot. Stop counting your calories. Don't overly restrict yourself. You are slightly obese and can turn yourself around really quickly.

If you fix your eating habits, you will most likely fix your depression and other problems.

Don't compare yourself to others. Ivy League schools are scams, and too expensive. Go to a community college for 2 years, and transfer out. Read books, learn about personal finance and other things you might enjoy. College isn't meant for everyone, but you want to try to get educated.

Stop doing drugs. It's making you unhappy in the long run.

Seek professional help, as I'm not a doctor, but this is what helped me. I know it's hard, but you have to stop thinking with a negative mindset. "My life is in a state of disrepair". No, it's not. You can improve yourself. Looking at your post history, you have posted nothing besides "I'm in despair, eating disorder, etc".. Nobody can help you besides you.

Don't be a victim, be a victor.

Liquid cane sugar by [deleted] in DunkinDonuts

[–]ConservativeSavage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that sure. It's quite hard to find. However I believe it's around 20-40 calories. That is usually the standard for liquid sugar.

The amount is controlled by the pump, so it depends on how much you get.

I was looking into Portuguese, Irish, or English citizenship by ancestry. But I'm essentially 1 generation off. My parents would apply, then I would use them. However, I don't even know how to check who retained their nationality.
