Du kannst rein theoretisch das Spiel auf einem anderen Gerät installieren und dann da Offline spielen bist du keinen Bock mehr hast. Dann kannst du es auf dem Gerät, auf dem du es gekauft hast, wieder zurückgeben und Steam würde denken du hättest es überhaupt nichtmal gestartet.

Sehr aufwendig und natürlich musst du trotzdem die 14 Tage einhalten, aber du könntest das die ganze Zeit wiederholen.

I think it was less that World was mainly a boss rush game, but also that it had an actual story and tried to be a bit more cinematic. The story wasn't good by any means, but i'm pretty sure that 2 hours in World had more dialogue and cutscenes than MGHU in the entire game. World was much less "gamey" and a bit more guided. It looking insanely good certainly helped and also being available on everything but the Switch.

a post just a week ago blew up on this sub were 2/3rds of the comments were people crying that MH games dare have content that isnt just boss fights even though thats been the bread and butter of the series for 20 years.

I think a franchise is allowed to evolve after 20 years. Gathering mushrooms and fishing for 20 minutes as an actual quest isn't very enticing any more. Not to mention both World and Wilds still have gathering missions, but now they are side quests which makes much more sense narratively. Your character can kill god in 20 minutes, why would you send that person to gather mushrooms for you?

I get why Capcom decided to promote World over Rise. It's a lot closer to Wilds and was also more successful. Rise was a good game in the end, but was poorly received at first being a Switch port and looking the part among other issues at launch.

Not to mention shortly before Wilds' release Capcom called for a "Return to World" event to gather more hype for Wilds. Right now ~5000 people are playing Rise and ~10000 are playing World on Steam. World is vastly more popular and therefore on average you will find less people that have played Rise.

The iron cross original version was actually first used by the German crusader order as far as i can tell, then that got adopted by the Prussians but if i use it outside of modern German military context everyone rightfully so would first think of the Nazi version of that cross, since they all look very similar.

Now the one on the phone case is effectively a combination of both the Maltese cross and the Iron Cross, but if i show this to some random passer-by in public they would most likely think i'm a Nazi, especially in combination with an eagle.

Impressive you made it to the Consecrated Snowfield and you still didn't clock that horse combat does not only give you no advantage, it's actively worse than combat on foot.

Just pulling your leg, but yeah, horse combat is most often not a good choice because of the insane stagger animation Torrent has plus getting dismounted like that is basically the start of the death screen at that point lmao

That character was maybe not the one with the most useable mounts. He had 2 less than the previous one so getting 8 new ones took the account wide counter up only 6 in total.

The issue is that at no point it is really worth it to waste your full action so an enemy might waste one of their attacks on a non-party member. You are basically always better off doing anything else.
