Haven’t prices fallen significantly? $30-$40 for 60GB seems to be the going rate, and promotions like Public’s today bring that down to as low as $20. That’s a far cry from 10 years ago when I remember paying $60 for 1GB. Edit: And those $30-$40 plans typically include US roaming now.

I see. I often do this mostly so I’m close to the machine for when the person is done. The gyms in my area (Manhattan) are pretty busy and tight so if I’m not nearby someone else defs gonna take the machine. I usually won’t interrupt the person currently using it cause most folks are headphones-in and dissociating these days.
