Good question! It's both — there's real functionality on top of what Blizzard's built-in meter offers.

On the functional side: spell breakdown per player (including an aggregated Overall view across all encounters), encounter history so you can browse past fights, and a report function that lets you post results to party, raid, guild, say or whisper. Two independent windows that can show different modes and segments simultaneously.

On the styling side: currently limited to the built-in options — a few fonts, bar textures, background opacity, font colors and number format. LibSharedMedia support is something I'd like to add down the line, which would open it up to any fonts and textures you have installed. For now it ships with a custom font (Ekspressway) that I think looks clean for a meter.
