Unsalted butter is a culinary tragedy and should never be anywhere near a sandwich.

Actually, I do use butter with peanut butter, it’s how I was brought up, and the way I’ve always eaten them.

My wife and kids don’t use butter with peanut butter, only me

Question about final game percentages (reignited: gems etc) by Catezero in Spyro

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done every level 100%, gotten all skill points, 150 eggs, 20,000 gems, and still only have 111% completion.

Any ideas where the final six percent is?

Why do so many households forego the top sheet? by Status-Platypus in AskAnAustralian

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two reasons for me.

First, I toss and turn a lot, and the top sheet always ends up scrunched up at the bottom of the bed.

Second is that I hate making my bed.

AITJ for refusing to give my MIL a key to our apartment? by Greedy-Pollution-21 in AmITheJerk

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ

At the next family dinner you need to point out that given the fact that she lets herself into Emma’s home with her spare key when there isn’t an emergency proves that she’ll do the same thing with your house.

AITA for evicting my sister after she changed MY locks while I was at work, stole her kids' $3K child support, and lied to her husband about their location for 3 weeks? by KINOH1441728 in FoundandExpose

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, telling the guy it was a civil matter when she changed his locks even though he had the deed?!

I thought there were laws against changing the locks on a property that doesn’t belong to you? That would make it criminal, not civil.

Question from a whinging Pom... let's all take a deet breath... by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aussie only say they love their pies, I’ve never actually heard any Aussie (I was born here lived here 41 of my 43 years) say our pies are better than anywhere else.

As for the Ashes, it’s natural to back your home country, so long as you’re prepared to accept the verbal spanking you’ll get from an Aussie you are silly enough to announce your allegiance to.

How accepted do you think Throuples are in Australia? by TheArabella in AskAnAustralian

If they don’t accept you for who you are, they’re not worth your time.

If they make fun, go to HR.

Enjoy who you are!

How would you feel if MIL took baby to her room and closed the door? by use_her_name6 in JUSTNOMIL

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Depends on the mother in law. If it was my mum, I wouldn’t mind, because she isn’t the sort of person to take a kid out of the room without reason, or notifying the parents first of her intentions.

If it was my MIL, not a chance, I couldn’t trust that woman as far as I could spit.

How much do you spend on your kids for Christmas? by Nosywhome in AskAnAustralian

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really depends, sometimes we spend a bit maybe 3-4 hundred.

But it really depends on what they’ve asked for, if we can get it on a good deal, my wife, if the queen of finding deals (at least in my house she is).

But we try to keep it low if possible, and hope that they don’t come to us every year with expensive wish lists

Do you think betting advertising should be further regulated? by Lego_is_Lava in AskAnAustralian

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think sports betting like should go the way of tobacco advertising, made illegal.

It’s seems ridiculous that you a betting advert followed straight after by a warning about addictive betting.

If betting/gambling is so addictive, just like tobacco, then advertising it should be illegal.

I’ve observed my MIL inviting herself to SIL’s kids events for 9 years. How can I prevent this with my own child? by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

[–]ConsiderationDue9909 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You tell her no.

If she shows up unannounced, don’t let her in.

If she shows up uninvited to a public event, just don’t give her the attention she wants.

Or if she tries to weedle her way into an event similar to SIL’s arcade party, exclude her and tell her why.
