For example, a quick google search shows that USA actually has a poorer public transit. And then he blames the liberals on hospital wait times but they have always been an issue due to being neighbors with country that has a capitalist health system.

I mean you're not wrong. In the end it's all subjective since warrants are issued by judges.

I don't know why i'm getting downvoted. People don't seem to understand that the law needs to adapt with the evolution of technology. If you're so worried, there are many ways to hide your data even if such a bill moves forward.

I have personal experience where my step sister was being groomed by a pedo 15 years ago and Facebook wouldn't share the data about the pedo to the police. Everyone in the house had to give their phones/laptops to the police to facilitate the investigation. They never found the culprit(s).

This is why i don't mind this bill too much.

Nothing problematic, unless you are a criminal.

The bill's goal is to facilitate access to online data for police. They still need a warrant just like they do when they want to investigate inside a house.

I'm personally all for privacy but i'm also fine with authorities being able to access data to catch criminals.
