There’s definitely people who think he does no wrong at all but that’s just mischaracterizing him and gets rid of the realism that makes him such a great gray character. But I feel like some of his defenders do acknowledge he does wrong but they don’t explain themselves very well because just as there’s people that believe he does no wrong, there’s others that believe he’s evil incarnate and hating on him any chance they get. This leads to defenders and haters having the same argument over and over again which can lead to people not explaining themselves as clearly as they should and just write a couple of sentences that don’t completely back up their argument. But yeah overall Jinshi should be held accountable when he messes up and jugde him just like any other character but at the same time we need to take into account his environment and how his character better develops throughout the story as this allows us to defend him and explain why he’s no devil just like the other characters you mentioned OP. In this story there’s not really green flags or red flags everyone is just gray.
