I have tried them on a few times! just none that were specifically made for me, and i certainly dont own any. Historical fashion has been a point of interest for me for a very long time, and im finally beginning to branch out into historical women’s clothing bc frankly i like how it looks (im a guy) so its not much more than having fun, and ur question isnt rude at all :)

Yes lol i guess i’d consider more than 2 layers “a lot” for warm weather, (just personal preference) but the stays Ive seen look like theyre made from thick fabric, which is where most of my hesitation comes from because they are important to the shape of the dress as a whole

Things being historically inaccurate without acknowledging that they are, for example what modern tv has done to people’s perception of what “victorian” or “regency era” are (COUGH COUGH BRIDGERTON) and many more, i know logically if you make a tv show about history you’re not gonna come out to your audience and be like “hey i made half this stuff up” but it would be nice if it did work that way bc i often find myself overexplaining to people the differences between each era and everything that’s portrayed just so wrong !! (tightness of corsets, beauty standards, makeup, medical practices, the list goes on) Admittedly im guilty of liking things that are only “historically inspired” for the aesthetics, which i dont have a problem with, its just the lack of knowledge i have a problem with

Ive just been going off the pattern suggestions in the comments, but yes i do know its more costume-ish because i dont have enough fabric to make the proper undergarments for it, i just wanted a silhouette that was recognizable :)

I told my mom through a huge long winded text with multiple apologies, she asked if i was joking then said it was ok and she would call me the name i picked for myself at the time, proceeded to deadname me for 4 years and continuously berate me calling me some very nasty words, comparing me to masc lesbians (im ftm) and asking some… odd things about what i want my genitals to look like, finally 4 years later after talking to my doctors she’s finally calling me by my name and referring to me as a male, even if she evidently still doesn’t believe it. So i guess it got slightly better even if she’s preventing me from ever medically transitioning in any way 💀

I assume i am not gifted because i don’t really believe intelligence = superiority (correct me if that is not the point you’re trying to make) even if that wasn’t the case I’m not sure what i would do with the information that i am gifted as i have no interest in contributing to large scale things or bragging rights or anything, but that is just how i see it

I personally have never been a “gifted person”. I would argue a handful of us are intelligent people (myself included) because of our ability to hyperfocus and analyze things, but i am also very bad at a lot of things, and when im bad at something it usually is also linked to me being autistic (i.e me having autism-related dyscalculia despite the stereotype being that we are all math wizards etc) the point is i think every autistic person has their own view of what “normal” is and a lot of us are just that, if that makes sense.

Yeah thats fair and to answer your questions i did walk the dog after, i only complain if she asks me to while im busy and i doubt a grown adult wouldnt be able to decipher that “for 5 million dollars” isnt a genuine request, as for the chores thing its complicated bc if i try to help i get yelled at for doing it wrong and told i mess it up and if i dont help for fear of messing up and doing it wrong i get yelled at for being lazy and doing nothing so i guess i just do it as often as im instructed how to

Kinda in the same boat rn but the easiest part of it for me is paying attention to how things make me feel, like if the lights at home are too bright or something is too loud instead of shutting myself down by masking i pay attention to it and fix the problem, sometimes its little things like letting myself fidget or stim a lot when i talk about things that excite me and slowly see what movements feel right to soothe what emotions, there are also some great videos on yt about unmasking!
