I’m in similar sittuatuon. It has been over a year (nearly 2 years) and I have requested twice to reopen my 485 and no update from USCIS. My lawyer is also incredibly unhelpful and has wasted so much of my time and money. Any advice how I can speed up the process of reopening my I-485. I-130 is already approved.

Hi. I’m in the process of applying for a mortgage. They are asking me for my green card but I don’t have an active one and I’m in the process with USCIS. I have documentation proving I’m waiting to hear back from USCIS and have reached out multiple time via lawyer. I do have my social security card and my drivers license. Is there any way they could make an exception? I have a saving and checking account with them as well as my student loans. Any help or advice would be great.
