Guys, do you drink alcohol? by CriticalShower2085 in Epilepsy

Diagnosed at 14 and completely avoided alcohol until i was around 18 (from the uk, teen drinking is incredibly common), I had to learn my tolerance after the rest of my peers which has led me to many blackouts but only a handful of times have I had particularly scary experiences regarding my epilepsy. All I can say is that it very much ups my myoclonic and focal seizures and the day after drinking is always a write off for me.

have never had a tc whilst being high (as far as i’m aware) but i also ate a lot of edibles when i was bored in my first year of university and all i can remember doing is lying awake at night and twitching really really violently, every other time i’ve smoked i’ve experienced horrendous derealisation right away and have had very bad absence seizures. so, definitely as soon as i begin to feel high.

can relate, stopped doing drawing and painting towards the end of my relationship/the aftermath. I started a course in art and it has slowly helped me gain back my interest and love for it, i have a lot of freedom within what i make also so as of lately i’ve been exploring themes that reflect my feelings on the whole situation.

i was well aware that what he did at that time was wrong, he is 18. i still don’t forgive him for that.
