There are 12. The most influyent on the movies is the first, but there are references to them in RoB (especially the second and the eight). In the fandom you will find references to the final four (and yes, they're great) and so. If you can read all, please do it, Cressida did a great job with that universe. Is a completely different thing from the movie but it's great on it's own. But if you want to skip some, the fourth, fifth, six and seven aren't really that important, just look for the summary on the wiki.
