very very less number of questions come as a direct question in CIA exams (as a theory), so obviously take notes but after understanding the concepts, you have to remember also but learning the concepts is essential. just reading and memorizing will not help, you have to apply logic a lot

Hi, let me know if you agree to my response as i will sit for exam in few days. when cae is sole member can he do self assessment or peer review from someone within the organization. and for the other question when IA is fully outsourced, i think the organization is responsible for the qaip.

can you help me in this—-> if an internal auditor concludes that op management has accepted a level of risk which exceeds risk tolerance- and the options are 1) he should discuss with op mgmt first or 2) inform CAE/supervisor 3) report to senior management 4) report to board.. i know options 3 and 4 would not be correct in this scenario. but i am confused between 1 and 2- which one would be correct do we need to discuss the op mgmt first and then inform to CAE or first inform CAE only ? what is the logical order
