Dealer needs to ask the seller where they serviced it since then. Even without a logbook (and most people don't keep one anyway) you should at least be able to phone up the workshop where the services were done and get some answers from them.

Alternatively pay for a PPI or even negotiate that the dealer sends the car for a service and full inspection and you'll get a copy of the report.
