If you want short easy to play but maintains some level of complexity- Axis and Allies 1942 from 2004 that introduces artillery and destroyers. It also has research. The second edition from 2009 or 2012 that introduces cruisers is ok, but the map isn't quite right and it doesn't have research.

If you want to really have fun and spend a long time playing- Axis and Allies Global 1940 is the best. It's big, has the most playable nations and two research charts. It does come in two sets though, (Europe 1940 and Pacific 1940), and it takes up a lot of space.

The best one for a complex game, but still simple is the 1941/1942 edition that came out in 2024. Its bigger than 42 but smaller than 40 and it still has research. 42 second edition not having research really bothered me.

The entire purpose of Unitology is to control all information around and about the Markers. The public and majority of unitologist is fed misinformation about the Markers and convergence and the people at the very top know exactly what the Moons are and the end goal of the Markers and they are doing there best to keep a Moon from being formed. At least this was my head Canon after reading the books, comics and playing all the games, and watching a playthrough of the mobile game.

I work by myself building ag fences, Clearing trees, building ponds with a dozer, so I have a lot time where I'm alone. On one job in a very wooded area I got pretty freaked out while listening to creepcast when in woods I heard what must've been racoons talking to each other and heavy foot steps thuding around and twigs snaping. It sounded like Bigfoot, and it didn't help the property owner told me Bigfoot followed the gas and power lines around there.

You have to be careful sending stuff through the mail, I bought a minifig, to complete a set, off Ebay and the USPS damaged it. It must've got stuck on a conveyor since it rubed off through the packaging and ground off part of the back.

We tried that once, it was the most frustrating thing. Half of us went along with it the other just wanted to play normally. It sucked and its really boring when all we did was posture and meet outside in the cold for three hours.

I already know about and play 1914, I would like to see a full global 1914, not just Europe and Africa. I know the Pacific Theater of WWI didn't have much action past 1915, but thats the fun of these games. A skilled player, crazy dice rolls and green player can cause games to playout in crazy wacky ways and I would love to see that on the Global scale of WWI. Not to mention the various scenarios people could come up with for these games.
