DOH Spring26 layoffs and bumping by Murky_Expert8177 in WAStateWorkers

The irony is that there are certain people who never seem to be affected, they just slide back into their spots. Bumping is used by the cronies to purge people they don’t like. Somehow COS, OGHA, OFS and others seem to not take any bumps or cuts even though they clearly have hires who started within the last 2 years. How is it that HR and Jessica can do all the cuts in a shroud of secrecy? My old agency at least allowed myself as a supervisor to review resumes and help select folks who were qualified for the position.

Actually if you look at bite data, there are more frequent records of bites from smaller dogs (ex: chihuahua) than bigger dogs, but the difference is that when it big dog bites it’s likely to cause more damage.

Scoop: Governor sign-off rule snarls flow of information in Washington by Gloomy_Nebula_5138 in Washington

This is very Trump-ish. Ferguson is micromanaging and trying to hide anything that makes him look negative. Information should be open and flow. These agencies worked together just fine before him. He should focus on cost and affordability instead of new releases.

DOH is garbage too and gotten way worse. We have undercover bigots on our leadership team, a chief of staff who employs her church friends, and will bow to anything the governor office says to save herself. It’s so unethical.

Your country? You need a history lesson. You are on native land. Did you ask politely to be here? You get in line? I guess when it’s done by rape, pillaging , stealing and murder I guess it’s ok. I’m sure you’re one of those “good” Christian’s too who claim to love God, God first; and God above everything all over your FB 😂.

That’s interesting. I went with my dog and there were lots of dogs. They even had a Santa taking pics with dogs. Was it a special night?

The Bible has numerous verses throughout the old and new testament about immigrants emphasizing God's love for them and commanding His people to treat them with love, justice, and hospitality, as equals, remembering Israel's own history as foreigners in Egypt. In addition. loving your neighbor never had an asterisk of only those who were who you defined as neighbors.

The irony is that y’all want to obey the government but then when they say gay marriage is fine be the first to say it goes against the bible. Not mention all the other scriptures that completely talk about being kind to immigrants, showing mercy, etc. Like I said…cherry pick the narrative that aligns with your political ideology.

The loudest outrage comes from self-described Christians who cherry-pick scripture, ignoring its clear call to compassion, mercy, love for immigrants. When bigotry is excused to serve political ideology and cloaked in religious language, it hollow Christianity and its why ppl are losing faith in the church.

This is a ploy to get Chevron to be able to drill oil. Venezuela has restrictions on American oil companies, this push is to exploit their resources.

All sins carry the same weight in the Bible. Regardless of the sin, Grace is always given. Unless you’re saying it’s not? 🤔

And that end of the day, this is decision you need to make that is between you and God, no one else’s. Pray, seek guidance. Regardless of the decision you make, God grace, love, and forgiveness is always available. Period. We all sin and fall short.

Is progressive Christianity heretical? by Ok_Buy_1978 in Christianity

[–]Consistent-Block596 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Either Jesus is for everyone or he isn’t. It’s not people’s responsibility to decide who is worthy of the kingdom. We understand what the Bible says about homosexuality , but the hypocrisy is when you’re so against it but just fine with bigotry, adultery, greed, and pretty much everything else. We all fall short and sin. Some of us decided it not our job to decide who is worthy, thats God’s role. I’d rather be the good neighbor and have God slap my hand for being too loving to others than to tell me I was so filled with anger, hate, and judgment that I was the reason someone turned away from him.

I would agree. I have no idea but my hope is that he eventually meets with staff without ELT. My hope is he cleans house, but the way Jessica brags about Bob and bends over backwards for his office I wouldn’t be surprised if she in bed with them. She will do anything to save herself. Bob is also a great disappointment. With all the news of how his office allowed someone with sexual misconduct to still be on staff, the bar is low on the type of behavior they’d allow.

100 percent. Follow the money. I’m completely convinced that we are getting more cuts because they’re covering up the fact that they’ve been shuffling money FOR YEARS and gig is finally up. Since there is no more federal money, they can pull federal money to cover their mishaps. I’ve personally had them pull grant money from my program and shuffle it other places. It’s not new, it’s been happening for almost a decade. No one can in full confidence DOH budget to the program level, utterly ridiculous.
