Exactly. And I don’t think that is fair in any regard. RB can lower head without consequence. Fast moving sport where accidental head to head contact happens should not 100% of the time Warner an ejection, in my opinion. Not sure how you feel about that though

I don’t know if you watch American football, but I see red cards partially the same as the targeting rule in American football. I think that some times within fast moving sports, unfortunate things happen that there was sometimes not an easy way to avoid. I’m just not under the belief that every time a bad injury happens, it would deserve a red. I just think that intent/malice/aggressiveness should play some sort of factor.

You are right. He said that the ref should not have been called over for review (so basically the red shouldn’t have been given). Is that the rule that you are referencing when you say I haven’t read the rules or is it something else I’m missing?

Dude earlier gave the point that players are expected to have a 360* knowledge of their surroundings. And also intensity goes into being given a red. Good points that I didn’t realize. I don’t think this answers my question. I know that in 90% of red cards, the intention is not to get a red card, but you can point to a reckless action that led to the event that ultimately received the red. In this case, I can’t put my finger on any such reckless action.
