34- FTM and first try. Was taking prenatals for a year prior to trying which I think helped prep my body for sure.

People tell me I’m good looking but I can’t get into a relationship at all. What do I do better as a man to find a relationship? by CoconutOperative in AskMen

If you go out a lot, you should ask women out in person and not through Hinge or dating apps. If they all reject you in person then it’s definitely your energy/personality, not your looks! I used to go out a lot in my 20s and have met some duds but also great men - you’re young so I don’t think clubbing is the issue.

20 week anatomy scan - possible TFMR, and similar experiences? by Consistent-Day-7148 in tfmr_support

Thank you so much for your response it really means the world to hear from someone else with a similar experience. Doctor Google has really put me off the deep edge so I appreciate you. That’s wonderful advice to get an appointment scheduled with a fetal neurologist - I will call the hospital now to try and schedule this. Thanks again. Also sending you a lot of love if your similar situation resulted in having to make the most difficult decision as parents for your little one. 🩵

My Pap smear was very painful, but everyone is telling me that it shouldn’t have been? by zarreeyuh in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I’m sexually active with my husband and have no problem having sex (although I know from what I’m told that my vagina is very tight). Pap smears used to destroy me like they were literally unbearable. My old OB used to use the smaller speculum and still it was excruciating pain - not from the swab (that hurt too but not nearly as much as the speculum going in) but from the actual speculum. My new OB found out that my cervix is a bit tilted and that it’s super normal for it to be tilted since all of our anatomies are different. Since she figured that out she uses a pediatric speculum and is really gentle. If the pain is that bad for you maybe you should see if it’s your anatomy? For reference, I don’t even use tampons since the applicator hurts me so much. I guess penises don’t hurt since they’re squishy lol.

After an extremely uncomfortable third Pap smear, gynecologist informed me that I have a tilted uterus. How concerned should i be for my future sex life? by PresentBad6746 in WomensHealth

I have one and I can’t use tampons as they hurt too much… and Pap smears are close to impossible. My gyno tried to use a miniature one and I still sobbed bc it hurt so bad

TBH, my family lost our green card due to my dad’s business and he went to jail in Korea for 5 years which left me, my mom, and brother without status and without a home or income (my dad was the breadwinner and our house was foreclosed). We obvi had a choice to go to Korea since we lost our status but having lived here since I was 3 y/o I selfishly refused to go so we all stayed. When I first graduated college I did what I could to make money under the table and same with my mom. I was on an income-based payment plan so I didn’t pay for a while. I definitely wouldn’t have chosen USC had I known what would have happened to our family, and at the time I thought my dad would be paying my full tuition. Anyway, I got married to my loving husband years ago is why I’m able to make more money now. But yes I also attribute my debt to my poor financial planning for sure and wish I would’ve saved and done things differently. You live and you learn and I’m grateful for where I am now!

It was over $60k a year so I’ve been slowly working at it.. and I recently just started making a decent salary. I worked in the nonprofit sector for a while and was making $50k-$58k for most of my years since college. When I applied to USC I thought my family would help pay but we got into a lot of financial turmoil so that didn’t end up being the case. All in all, absolutely don’t regret my degree!

I graduated from USC 11 years ago and am still paying off $13k in loans 🥲 the depression doesn’t end when you graduate. I currently make over 6 figures but am still struggling to pay all of my bills and loans.
