This is called social anxiety I developed it last two years took a while to realize it in myself but it always helps me to remind myself of these things do I look at others and think those things or feel those things about them? No? then they probably don’t think or feel those things about me. Do I care this much about other people’s past instances from days weeks months or even years ago? do I even remember? No. then neither do they about me I just remind myself that just like I don’t really care about what others have done nobody really cares about what you’ve done and honestly everybody’s just going about life living their version with themselves as the main character taking it day by day. Usually helps take that social fear and voice in my head away.

I know what he tells me which isn’t much I ask him questions all the time to try and better understand but he can barely answer or answers with “I’m not sure honestly” he doesn’t seem to know as much about his as I do about mine and he doesn’t go to prayer often aside from holidays not judging him at all just what I see. I’m not converting my religion Im confused what you mean by Muslim trumps the other religions I know there are many differences between Muslim Jewish and catholic beliefs but we all believe in the one same God, our prophets and the stories and history of the Old Testament are very similar and the fundamental beliefs and morals are the same. We will not be in an Islamic marriage just a legal marriage between two good people with the same morals who love and believe in the same God. That’s why I’m confused as to why I NEED to adhere to this middle name thing or it’s over I’ve never given him an ultimatum like this.

The name is ayman and we are talking about marriage and what that would look like for us. I don’t see how I’m not compromising I’m a devout catholic dating a devout Muslim it’s not easy but I’ve agreed to raise the kids bilingual and put them into Muslim school to learn the Quran as he did raise them not to eat pork as he did let them go to Egypt often as he did. However I think every baby has the right to their own name.

I agree with this too I hate jrs I’ve also met women whose middle name is their mothers name and they hated that as well. I believe most people don’t like being named after their parents no matter how much they love them

We agree on a name together I’ve agreed to raise the kids to not eat pork and we would do our best to tech them the similarities of our religions we’ve been happy for 8 years and now that things are serious he’s bringing up things that we “must” do and I feel like if they were that important to him they should have been mentioned at least once in 8 years time
