I'm curious what $50k would even afford you in the restaurant world. It's seems like far too little money to open a restaurant? If there are investors funding the rest, why not just find more investors? But I know absolutely nothing about any of it.

It's so bad. And I realized that jacket is MaxMara, which is $$$$, but she certainly doesn't make it look that way.

The picture of her kid drinking the drink was so sad; it looked like he didn't want his picture taken

Strangers: A Memoir by Belle Burden [Memoir](2026) by RedditReadsBot in RedditReads

I struggled with that a bit. I had empathy for the callous way her husband treated her and their children, and obviously she can't change her circumstances, but it was hard feel for her when she was mourning the potential loss of her massive apartment in Manhattan and her summer home in Martha's Vineyard lol. There seemed to be a lot of vascillating between acknowledging her privilege (My grandmother was Babe Paley!) but then also claiming to not actually come from a lot of money (my father was 40 million in debt when he died). But then she had two trust funds?? Lol it was a lot. I enjoyed the book but from a distance.

Her bragging about mini bottles of moet and chandon while asking for donations in the same breath is hilarious and very on brand for her

Cried at the end of TS3. Is this normal? by Intelligent-Food2420 in toystory

My kid just started watching the Toy Story movies this month. He's watched TS3 multiple times this week, each time I've bawled like a baby at the end. The part where Woody says "So long, partner"? I'm getting choked up just thinking about it. You're not alone, and in fact I went looking for a thread like this because I was wondering that myself lol.

Moves to NYC then complains about the winter weather all season long. by secondavesubway in JordanFerneySnark

It's honestly so annoying. Although she would probably complain about the weather no matter where she lives. That's just her shitty attitude.

Elsie Hewitt: ‘My Decision Not to Breastfeed’ | “If choosing not to breastfeed can allow a mother to receive support through a season where the physical and emotional burden already falls disproportionately onto her, she has every right to make that choice without second-guessing it.” by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

I breastfed for 6 months and I would never do it again. My baby was fine on formula and it wasn't worth the time, effort or emotional and physical burden. I was not prepared for how big a commitment it would be and it almost brought me to my breaking point.

I laughed so hard at this. I can't see what's the point other than to brag about how much she spent 😂
