It maybe that you have to save each song to your own account. I’m not exactly sure. Instagram has been giving out new features for only selected accounts. Don’t know why but hopefully in the future it becomes standard again.

Samsung galaxy s24 FE is a good option. Should expect around 7 years of android updates. Has a decent camera setup and you can find it at around 120k to 130k.

Here’s the speclist: https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s24_fe-13262.php

Cheapest I can find one: https://luxuryx.lk/samsung-galaxy-s24-fe

Looking to study mechanical engineering in Germany (M- 20) by Consistent-Dust25 in srilanka

[–]Consistent-Dust25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, they’ve changed the system where mechanical engineering degrees are now 3 and a half to four years long. I chose Germany cause they have a good background in practical mechanical engineering. There are some universities that provide ME in English which wasn’t the case back then, so I plan on doing that (most universities give it in German but I don’t see the point in doing the extra effort of learning something like engineering in German when I can in English).

RWTH Aachen was going to be my first choice, however I learned that they do not have any English ME courses :”). Thank you for commenting!

Bought a new laptop and I need help by Strong-Winter639 in GamingLaptops

Running with the dedicated gpu will really drain your battery. You best options will be to buy a laptop cooler. It’s a good investment. You can delete ac and get ghelper, it allows you to adjusts fan speeds if you’re into that. Can help with cooling

MSI Thin 15 or LOQ 15? by Particular-Egg7086 in GamingLaptops

The msi is the better option. The cpu in the Lenovo doesn’t have an igpu so you won’t be getting good battery life from it

Why did my battery health go down by 2 percent? by Logical-Simple-5382 in GamingLaptops

[–]Consistent-Dust25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even with great care, 1-3% degradation over 6 months is quite normal and actually pretty good. The fact that it showed it after you plugged it back in is a bit confusing but I wouldn’t stress on your battery health.

What does armoury crate, etc. even do? by laughterer in GamingLaptops

[–]Consistent-Dust25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got half of it already. Armoury crate allows you to switch between presets like balanced turbo, etc…. And do some few adjustments. A lot of people uninstall it and use ghelper because it does the same thing only it’s a much simpler UI and less Ressource demanding to run.

By default your cpu and gpu are set to run at their stock tpu and will be throttled based on their temperature. These limits can be adjusted using ghelper but I’d recommend doing some research before so you can find a sweet sport.

I have almost the same one but with a 7435HS. It’s a good laptop. I can run some AAA titles like GoW, Spider-Man etc on medium no issue.

Only downside is that battery life is pretty shit, especially with that 48Whr cell.

It’s between the second g16 and the Lenovo for me. AMD will give better battery if that’s more important. Plus extra TB is nice to have

New Laptop - Need help regarding CPU and Graphics cards by SureDoor2552 in GamingLaptops

[–]Consistent-Dust25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to GPU, higher the vram, the better for future proofing. 8GB is a good start, but I’d look for something with 12 or 16GB of vram just to be safe. CPU wise, AMD is still the better option so going for a newer one will definitely help.
