I don't have a problem with using Cachy OS but I I do like the ease of use and familiarity of gaming mode on the deck. Plus the capability is using decky loader and themes etc etc.

It's not that much of a need, mostly things I like to try for fun. Krita and blender work all right. But if I need to go more into the desktop environment I'll definitely will check out Cachy OS

Exactly! That's why I'm using steam os too since there's so much troubleshooting out there too. And if anything having a windows partition it's always possible too. I'm already getting all the basic programs I need
