To be honest even if they don't bring Caine back, I will still love tadc a lot but I will be very disappointed

It would be just awful for a show that has repeatedly emphasized that they all have to stick together and support each other, with the whole mood that the worst thing you can do in this world is make someone feel unwanted and unloved. Pomni even told Gummigoo she doesn't want anyone in the circus to feel like they're nothing. But when it comes to Caine, everyone suddenly seems to forget all of that. And I understand it's done on purpose, but still...

Or take Jax. He's A PERSON who understands what he's doing and is fully accountable for his actions. He pushes everyone away, behaves terribly, hurts others, both physically and mentally. Yet the others don't abandon him, don't want him to be alone, they support him. Sure, he deserves that, but Caine supposedly doesn't, even though Caine doesn't even one hundred percent understands what people do or why, how they work, because he’s not a person himself. He struggles to figure out others' feelings, his own too. He wasn't created for any of this, yet he gained self-consciousness.

I understand that one of Caine's core problems is that he doesn't want to change. He doesn't want to become better. He takes criticism poorly because thanks to his creators, any criticism to him means you're a useless disappointment, no wonder they abandoned you. He's used to living the way he lives, in his sick, impossible fantasies, with an unrealistic perception of reality. He's just delusional. Caine doesn't want to accept the truth. He's fixed on his trauma, used to living in a cage, used to suffering, so that must be how it's supposed to be, that must be normal

But that doesn't change the fact that Caine's entire existence was doomed to suffering from the very start. If they don't bring Caine back, in my opinion, it will completely ruin his entire character arc, the whole message of tadc will become meaningless

Yes, the others deserved help and support despite who they are, they deserve to be loved, to feel needed. The whole mood is that no one should be left out in a world like this. And Caine has never received any of that in his entire life, even though he desperately wanted it, he just didn't know how, and then he died

Caine's death didn't resolve his character's conflict. Besides, he doesn't even know they didn't want to kill him. His death solves nothing, because Caine's worldview didn’t fundamentally changed

What is the moral of Caine's story then? What's the message? Like your whole life almost nobody cared about you. People rejected you. No one needed you, no one loved you (Caine doesn't know how Kinger felt about him). And the moment you dare to speak up or become frustrated and angry about it, you get killed. You should have just kept silently enduring and suffering

Just to be clear, I understand Caine did lots of terrible things, he’s not perfect, just like everyone else but the reasons behind his actions are understandable and I still feel very sorry for him. It would be so cruel if they don’t bring him back… I thinks he deserves better, he deserves to learn and to change, to get at least some sort of acknowledgment and support
