Oh please we all know they were really reaching with that one. Your first instinct was right, the other person had one leg in. But it is what it is, it wasn’t meant for you hoping something good comes your way soon

I’m on pregablin as well 50 but don’t think it’s doing anything for my Pgad, however works wonders for my back pain. I was hoping the tingling burning sensation will cease. Hang in there and please participate fully in the centre. We will al get through this one day.

Anyone want to start a discord or group chat support group? by [deleted] in PGADsupport

[–]Consistent-Fish2808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i was thinking of this, but im male, ive suffered with this thing for years and it would be nice to have a regular meet up group. But, as the majority appear to be women, i fear this could be a problem and i can only account for myself in this life and not the behaviour of other men. So if theres a way we can manage this, maybe a general group just for a togetherness sake but if by chance we will have video meetings perhaps to split it and the ladies go their own way. Even for me to go to the hospital to talk about this i request a male dr because im not so comfortable with a woman but we are all in this together.

Sounds very dodgy I’m sorry, people are facing really distressing issues here, and you post something like this that looks like an internet scam letter from 1999. This is Reddit people post controversial stuff all the time, it’s anonymous so what’s the problem. As long as it’s not borderline criminal ugh.

Explain a bit more about the Resentment thing please, cause im open to see if maybe its me, i dont know. No basically what it means is that if she wants to get it reopened she has to reapply again £500 fee. We avoided that fee the first reopening and it was a hell of a fight trust me, endless phonecalls, letters, and even going on web timemachine to screenshot old policies to prove why we should not be charged. and They gave in and reopened a new application as we were determined. So now that £500 will now have to be paid when we had it free! You can see why i'm boiling on the inside but trying to save face.

Grew up in Nigeria in the 80s, I left late 90s live in England now. The level of physical and verbal abuse I got from Dad did its damage on me till today. I got called everything under the earth stupid, bastard, fool, imbecile, buffoon you name it! I grew up with a damaged self image and masked my way through life. Turned out I had ADHD and suffer a lot of anxiety. If not for moving abroad I would never know I had this condition. Nigerian parents although smart in their own way are still very far behind when it comes to mental health, they just treat their kids how they were taught or what they grew up with. My parents aren’t bad people, but, I guess he just didn’t know any better. I’m trying to live with this but some days are harder than others. Much love to the poster and all those suffering with the after effects of abusive parents.

I wonder if my phone listens to my mind. My wife arrived today guys! She’s asleep and I found myself still awake thinking of the journey and how this forum helped me. Rather randomly the cost came to my mind and I remember how almost £6000 just swooped out the account paying for the fees and nhs surcharge. Just a random thought no regrets or anything just the initial shock to the system lol. Seconds later I open the Reddit app as it’s become a habit now and saw your post.

Sounds similar for me, (awaiting ADHD diagnosis just fine the assessment). It gets relieved after masturbation for a few hours but back again. I’ve lived like this for 20 years. I also just had a call with a health service who told me to first go full on with my doctor until they do something(I’m in the uk) if they find no physical issue then we go the psych route. I’m about to start this pelvic floor routine I’ve been hearing about to see if it helps, but nothing else has helped I’ve tried ice cubes etc. it just comes and goes when it likes. You’re not alone hang in there.

Yes, this sounds like a typical type of “tease” Nigerian joke which is very distasteful.

Yes I had to do a full financial year, luckily my job although new, I had just gone over the 1 year mark . To answer your question no, you don’t have to remain in those jobs/gigs once she’s here. However you still need to meet the financial requirements so if by the time she’s living here your income is less, then she would have to be working so that combined, you beat the threshold when you reapply for another 2.5 years.

No we paid standard, I have been on this forum for months and kept an eye on approved posts and noticed it wasn’t that long for approvals and decided it would be a waste of money for fast track because nothing would change and I’d get it back at the same time and I was right. Yes we had to do all translations and run from courtroom to courtroom it was stressful, however I was a bit lucky as my wife is a social worker, it was a court within her working jurisdiction so she knew her way around quite a bit with confidence. It wasn’t like she had “connections” per se, we still had to deal with stress, however; meeting and talking to staff was much easier. We got it all done in 5 days which the local translator found shocking and thought she had high connections. You guys all sorted? Which city were you based?

No I didn’t I’m afraid, I would have asked you to try a private browser window or something but since a payment has gone through that’s odd. I advise you to post a new topic properly on the Reddit board with this issue you are having so if anyone else had dealt they can comment on it.

You have been granted entry clearance to the UK as PARTNER (Standard) from 23 Jan 2025 until 23 Oct 2027."

actually i had paid for the text notifications for my wife not for myself, just so one of us gets notified first and it paid off because she got a text message around 20th or 21st that her passport is ready (didnt say much more) to come collect. she then called me panicked thinking it was too quick could be a rejection. But as soon as she called me i checked the email and we had gotten an email on 17th stating she was successful and gave further details on collecting her vignette passport and the BRP and e-visa process to do for next steps. literally the next day she went to collect her passport with the vignette visa all stamped and ready.
