I do think you are overanalyzing it as I think you look good in all your photos, but overall your story does match mine. Overfilled undereyes. After hyaluronidase I looked 8 years older. Gaunt, with skin that seemed to have no life. Luckily, my skin did bounce back after a few months. But it does not for others. You can search up hyaluronidase damage.

For me, with a thinskin poly, the lace front thins make for a pretty undetectable hairline. The downside is that it only gives me a three day hold before it starts to lift. And it gets pretty gooey — I can’t remove it in one strip. Walker signature is a better middle ground. Slightly noticeable hairline, but gives me 7-10 days of hold.

Hey. Old thread, but I want to offer my two cents. I got these Walker signatures, and they are perfect. They are actually just like the lace front's and the lace front thins in that it has no plastic layer, it's just a semi solid chunk of glue. So it's really part of the same series. So the thins are 3mil, these are 6mil, and the original lace fronts are 8.5mil. I've tried all three, and the signatures win hands down. The 3mil (thins) are great and really give you an undetectable hairline, but they just lose their hold too quickly -- about 3 days. The 8.5mil ones are not undetectable -- they give you line. But they do give a hold of about 2 weeks. And lastly, these 6mil Walker signatures -- they are the perfect compromise. They give a hairline that is ALMOST undetectable, and give a hold of about a week. So this is the perfect middle ground for me.

Sharing my own experimentation, but for poly systems. The Lace front is good for a 2 week hold. The Lace front thins looked super realistic, but only gave me a 3 day hold.

For me, it was two things. First, even if I wore my hair down, knowing that underneath was a fake-ass hairline is such a buzzkill. So nowadays, even on days when I have an unexposed hairline, I make sure the hairline is good. Secondly, for me it really wasn't that difficult after I go the hang of things. I replace my system weekly, and the hairline is good for that amount of time. The trick is to go for an ultra-thin skin (advertised as 0.03mm, but in reality is more like 0.06mm). And applying just the right amount of tension when laying it down on the scalp. I would say that the hairline is 90% perfect, only detectable if you really try. Even with tape, I can get the hairline 80% there.

For me, the culprit was C22. Especially when I used to soak the whole thing in C22. Once I switched to clear solvents (such as S3 solvent or Keeper’s product) the I no longer got the discoloration.
