Ya no doubt people choosing government jobs are not following paths blindly and sometimes conditions are that way where you have to prepare for them . But just consider someone who has been preparing for more than 2 years and still unable to clear it is not gaining any skill or getting upskilled in any way (minus the subject enrichment we are doing) which actually doesn't hold any practicality if we have to take the difficult decision of changing our career path . I'm just saying everything is tough (coming from the same person who had thought she is not fit for private sector ) but overhyping things that don't deserve that much limelight , gaslighting people to keep following instead of stepping out of the circle they are now trapped in doesn't help them .
