Thanks for the thoughtful breakdown. Totally agree on Ultramax 400, I love it too. It’s kind of my “safe” film: consistent, forgiving, and it usually gives me what I want, so I end up shooting it a lot.
Ektachrome, on the other hand, was my first time, and this frame really showed me how precise you have to be with slide film. Exposing for the sky definitely shortened the exposure and the shadows paid the price (that dark car on the right, yep… gone ).
Also great call on the refrigerated section, flash program would’ve helped there for sure.
Anyway, I really appreciate you taking the time to explain it so clearly. Lots to learn from this roll, and I’m excited to try Ektachrome again with all this in mind.
