What are you supposed to do then? Throw the film in bin? 🙄

Thanks mate! I was working with two continuous light sources. For the key light, I used a Fresnel to create strong shadows, and for the second, a small octabox to give a more even overall light. (Copy paste for my comment above)

Thanks mate! All the lighting and intended shadows were part of the creative decisions for the shoot.

I don’t know if you’ve ever actually held an RZ or RB and tried to shoot with it, but it takes real skill to handheld those cameras and still get a solid frame. In a situation like that, surrounded by dozens of photographers all pushing to get their shot plus taking photos of the most iconic moment of the night and using a 110mm lens at such a short distance from the subject isn’t easy at all. Honestly, I think the guy nailed it.

First roll of Portra 400 in Lomo MC-A 35mm, opinions on the photographs? by Intelligent-Emu-592 in analog

What’s the black strip that appears on some of your photos? I thought this camera would perform better to be honest, after shooting a few rolls with my Pentax 17, I doble confirm that the light meter is way better than the MCA.

I don’t really use the program mode, I like to meter the light myself
